Knight & Stay by: Kitty French

I rated this book 3 out of 5 stars.

Knight & Stay is the continuation of Sophie Black and Lucien Knight's desire filled journey.  Sophie is now forced to choose between her cheating husband and Lucien.  Who will she choose and will that choice be met with the same desire on their part?

Where the first book left off, I couldn't wait to pick this one up and find out what happened next for the two.  While I did enjoy discovering more about the two and what happens, this second book didn't draw me in as much as the first book did.  I did really enjoy a part farther in the book, but I also felt like the way the book was ended with the epilogue, left no lingering questions or desire to read the third and final book in the trilogy.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by: Sarah J. Maas

I rated this book 5 out of 5 stars.

When Feyre goes hunting one day, she isn't expecting anything but hopefully getting some food for her family. Unfortunately when she's just about ready to take her shot, she sees a wolf. Not willing to allow the wolf to steal the meat, she shoots the wolf dead. Little does Feyre know that the wolf is not a wolf at all, but instead is a faerie in disguise. Soon Tamlin an immortal faerie comes for her, announcing that she will live with him for her punishment. Feyre does not like the faeries and their world, but she must come to terms with her faith or risk the lost of everything she has ever known. Will she overcome her past pretense and come to respect and like the faerie world before it is too late?

I absolutely loved this story. First off, it is a beauty and the beast retelling, so of course I was excited to read it. When I finally got my hands on a copy, I couldn't put it down. I fell in love with every single character and the beautifully crafted world. There were some parts of the story that seemed weighted down, as they didn't move fast, but once I started the book, I didn't want to stop because I just had to find out what would happen! This was my first time reading a book by Sarah J. Maas and I just have to say wow! She did an incredible job creating characters and a world that not only mirrored the original story but also made you feel like you were sucked into the story yourself. I would most definately recommend this book to everyone.

Tied Up, Tied Down by: Lorelei James

I rated this book 4 out of 5 stars.

Tied Up, Tied down is a story about Skylar and Kade who's one night together results in Skylar becoming pregnant.  What should be joyous news, doesn't start out exactly that way after a case of mistaken identity causes the two to walk away from one another.  Months after the birth of their daughter, the two are reunited once again.  When Kade learns of his daughter, he instantly falls heads over heels in love with her and her mother who he never stopped loving.  All he has to do now, is convince Skylar he never stopped loving her, and that he isn't like she thinks all men are.  Can he prove his love, or will he lose his new found family forever?

I was very excited to read this story.  I've read Lorelei James titles in the past, and have greatly enjoyed her writing style and stories.  She draws you in and hooks you.  I couldn't help but love Kade.  He was so sweet, and a complete gentleman-oh, and a cowboy..a hot cowboy!  The whole story was good but the things that happened and were said at the end, where beyond amazing and sweet.

Their Virgin Captive by: Shayla Black and Lexi Blake

I rated this book 3 out of 5 stars.

Their Virgin Captive focuses on three brothers, Gavin, Slade, and Dex, and the woman they all love, Hannah. After being in love with Hannah from the moment they met her, Slade and Dex decide the time has come to make her theirs. They'd love nothing more than for Gavin to join in too. Although Gavin is just as crazy for Hannah, his past won't allow him to act on his feelings. Can Gavin come to terms with his true feelings or will he lose Hannah to his brothers?

I listened to this book on audio. While it wasn't favorite, I did enjoy this book. I especially fell in love with the brothers. They are so different in many ways but you can definately see that they all love one another, and would do anything for each other. I enjoyed Hannah a lot more after she let herself lose the "good girl" image that she had taken on for everyone else and simply be the girl she wanted to be.

The Isle of the Lost by:Melissa de la Cruz

I rated this book 3 out of 5 stars.

This book follows Mal (Maleficent's daughter), Jay (Jafar's son), Evie (Evil Queen's daughter) and Carlos (Cruella de Vil's son) on an adventure across their Isle in search of Mal's mother's dragon's eye, and to prove to themselves and their parents that they aren't disappointments.

I really liked the idea of this book.  As someone who loves Disney, of course I fell in love with the idea of a story based around the villains and their children.  This book wasn't as good as I thought it would be.  It did seem to drag in some spots and such, but overall I did enjoy it.
